i got a 92 fox, and my battery light keeps coming on and off. when it comes on my subs turn off but my lights turn super bright and the battery meter goes to 18 volts, but my car doesnt die or try to turn off. ive already replaced the alternator but the battery is week. everytime i turn on my car the battery is almost dead. Any suggestions?

how old is the battery?
might be the actual battery

You should check the battery cables for corrosion too.

i dont know i think the batterys pretty old...but theres no corossion...i guess imma try swappin the battery

My 93 does the same thing some one told me it was the after market pully I put on there do you have pullies?

Just a smaller supercharger but i doubt that has anything to do with it....im guessing its the voltage regulator!

Do you have a capacitor on your sound system? If not, this is probably the issue...
