So I have an 89 5.0 GT aod. My car is intermittantly running very rough, shaky idle, low power.... My Chiltons manual gives a test for the Mass air to use a voltmerer to check voltage between terminal a and b to be a minimum of 10.5V and mine is reading 14.08V, and between terminal c and d to read .60V at idle and mine is coming up at .78V. Does this sound like the problem?
I have already removed and cleaned the mass air wire with mass air cleaner around 4 months ago, but after cleaning I had taken the motor apart to put new head gaskets on it, maby been like 1500 miles since it was cleaned and upon initial startup I set the firing order clockwise instead of counter-clockwise and it spit a flame out the intake pipe, maby that is what messed it up, maby its not a factor.....
Anyways any input would be appriciated, thanks

first bring the motor back to TDC and redo your firing order
-------------------- It's NOT illegal. It's just frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane.

Just recently reset the firing order, the motor the car came with uses the non-ho firing order and I swiched the injectors to match.....
