I have 89 LX, hit curb a couple years ago, my front left will not align......it wears on the inside and after 20k or so it is into the steel treads. Can I take a complete front end off a '91___including the A arms and just bolt it in place as one unit....it looks like I can take it as a complete unit including the struts.....I had the struts replaced thinking they might be bent, but that wasn't it. the only problem with that is the k-member from a straight car might not fit, you'd be best off measuring the distance between the mounting point bolts of your k-member from side to side and comparing to a straight car, if those line up you should be able to.
what doesn't work when getting an alignment? toe, camber, caster?
It sounds like the strut tower is tweaked if it's wearing the inside edge of a tire, if that's the case a new k-member won't fix that because the front subframe and strut tower area is what is bent, and a straight k-member probably won't bolt up.
