just got home from work wanted to go get gas it my car its been sitting for about two weeks without a start. last time i drove to get new wheels didnt have a problem and olny mashd gas once that day. today i startd it as usal leting it idle to warm up as soon as its out of the warm up loop it startd idling Really choppy sounds like a cammed crotch rocket. i turned it off for 5-6 min then i turned it on and my gauges did that test deal where the sweep across. and then it goes to normal but theres no check engine code my obdII reader just says fail. any ideals? please its a 2004 Cobra. The coolant temp sensor maybe starting to go bad. It could be telling the computer that the engine is still cold when it is actually warmed up which will throw off the air fuel ratios causing the choppy idle.
