This may be a retard question but why such a small gap. Shouldn't it be closer .54 or is this not an n/a setup?

I found my engine runs best wit the gap at a stock .54 but even with the tiny gap I don't think that would cause you arc. That's a crazy one

try changing wire sets. every time i've seen the plugs arcing they were using those ford racing wires. they suck in my opinion they have 1000 ohms per foot which is alot for a "performance" wire set. msd wires only have 50 ohms per foor

Me too! I had Ford racing wires for about a year and I tired spraying some water on them at night when running then notice they where arcing like crazying-all of them. Then I bought some cheap 20 dollar 8mm wires, and the car ran like new+ the wires have a liftime warrenty...can go wrong. I guess you can swap the distributor to see if there is a change. the arce is the spark hunting for a ground so. double check what u think is correct grounding on your vehicle . and double check your stock ignition and computer and all your engine sensor grounds.

If you have Edelbrock aluminum heads, you have the wrong spark plugs. You need an Autolite 3925 or comparable. If you are naturally aspirated, keep the larger gap. If you are running nitrous or a blower, you should run a colder range plug & narrow the gap.

You have the wrong plugs in there, the 25's are for stock heads, go get some 3924's from walmart and that will probably be it, Me and my boys run ford racing wires on all our aluminum heads and they work fine

now on all your connections make sure the contacts surface is clean bare metal. engine to frame, engine to batt, computer to frame inside where it sits,on the back of the motor in one of the heads there should be 2 more grounds, batt to frame, batt to motor, all good grounds, if you can lightly tug and the connection moves or pulls out,,,, its not a good ground lol! try this and dont be quick about it thinkin u already done this. cause something was overlooked so check closely. and i know this might sound funny, but are u a hundred percent your wires are snapped all the way on? lol!
