Can the heads on a 96 cobra be removed without dropping the whole motor? I've got a burnt valve and the shop I'm using says the motor needs to be dropped. I'm trying to save $$$ on the labor.

it would def be easier in the long run to pull the motor, at least youll have a chance to wipe down that engine bay!

I need the heads removed for a valve job. I Actually plan on selling my cobra so I don't know if I should spend the money to have it fixed or sell as is. If anyone's interested it's a 96 with a v2 sq blower aftercooled. It Also has an MMR forged bottom end. JohnBOat installed the shortblock and it was street tuned by Sean at AED. As I said it does have a burned valve that needs to be replaced. Failed smog cause of the valve.
