my car has to pass smog so i decided to change my plugs so i decided to change my spark plugs to help it run better. last night, after changing the plugs, i turned the car on and the car sounded a different so i took the plugs out and rechecked the gaps on all of them. this morning i tried taking it out again but this time my car was back firing almost the entire time i was driving it around the block. should i recheck the gaps again? not too sure what it might be but there was a slight burning smell coming from the engine bay. again, the spark plugs were the only things i messed with yesterday.
