I have a 351w short block from a 94 lightning.. the f4te block i think is what its called. i want to know how much nitrous they can take? stock crank, rods, and hyper pistons. setup is stock 351w shortblock, tfs twisted wedge heads, victor jr manifold, stage 3 tfs cam, 1.6 rockers. what kind of nitrous can this handle? thanks

I doubt you will have enough piston to valve clearance with that stage 3 cam, TFS heads and stock hyp pistons.
Anyway I wouldnt put more than 150 shot on it providing it is a 100% healthy motor and thats 150 rated at the motor, not rear wheel like the nx kits have you jet for.

I would be looking very carefully at the fuel system, and the tune if you want that thing to live. The pistons are the weak link. Run it 'till it blows, then upgrade to a stroker.

Bottom line is the pistons suck. I think as long as your fuel is dialed in spot on it will run til it blows but it will be fun. Go with the hundred shot but have somebody who is very nitrous savvy dial her in before you hit the go button and remember part of going fast is breaking shit.

i ran hypers all year and still run them hard nitrous + boost still ticking i been wanting to blow them up lol ill try a little harder this year [burnout]
