Dual cases, 5.29's, bobbed, dovetailed, etc... Im prety excited and already took it on a couple hour drive home so it's prety reliable. The only thing is it needs to be smogged and the check engine light is on. It also has trouble starting when it gets cold and will crank but wont fire. Its a 22re so its injected and once it gets warm it fires up right away. Im thinking the engine light could be related to the poor cold start and was looking for ideas before i try to figure it out tomorrow. I need to smog it tomorrow so im gonna SeaFoam it tonight. Any ideas for a better cold start folks???<br /><br />PS. I've been a member for some time. When you're ready to smog it throw in some chevron 91 and a bottle of rxp. I just smogged my 88 4runner 7" lift 37" Mtr's & 5.29 gears. It passed the shiffer test with flying colors. Failed the visual though... <br /><br />As for the hard start, run the code first and go from there.
