I need tires, but don't want to waste money on the stock fox rims.
I was thinking of purchasing those Summitt Racing Pro-Star replicas at $94 they are very tempting. I would run 3.5~5.5in in the front, so not too skinny.
My concern is in denting or bending the those drag racing rims. Is this a downside or have any of you been daily driving with these succesfully????
Thank you, bigC

i had weld drag lite that i drove around on for 10+ years... as long and you know not to turn had on them or hit pot holes.. you should be fine... i wound't drive around on 3.5's.. also your stopping distance will go up greatly.. and they tend to slide on hard brakeing..

I currently run weld drag lites 15x7 in front and 15x8 in back. My front tires are bridgestone potenzas with the extra rim protection around the lip, havent had any problems yet.

I drove daily on Weld Prostar XPs, 17X9s with a 275/40 tire for a while when I lived in Phoenix and never had any trouble. The roads there are better than the bay area, but I still think you would likely be ok. A really big pot hole may bend them.

I have driven acorss the country on the Hot Rod Power Tour on 3.5" front Draglites, and have had numerous other cars with them... you just have to be cautious, and you will have no issues.

Thanks everyone.
It appears if I drive keeping in mind the limitations of 3.5~5.5in from rims I should be fine.
