Author Topic: I fudged that up..... 87 4spd GT ¯ Member # 9216 posted                                 So the other night I decided while drinking to go ahead and start my Explorer intake install. Bad Idea, well not really everything went alright but my biggest mistake was not making sure I set the piston to #1 TDC. So now after trying numerous times to remember where the rotor was in relation to the cap, I give up. Now how is the easiest and smartest way to get piston to TDC #1 and how do I tell when its on the compression stroke too....... I know I am a " insert caption here" but I need your help.
