My question is how hard is it to get traction in a coupe with over 400 Rwhp... Its like my 1st & 2nd gear dont exist.

My current suspension mods are
complete baseline upper & lowers with Track relocater
& a airbag in the right side spring...

I'd much rather practice on street tires first to get a feel of it rather than going straight into Drag Radials or even slicks. Gotta learn how to walk before you can run.

if you are having traction problems already? then why practice on street tires? all you can do is throttle it! get a good setup for suspension and then get some good tires, driving on street tires and then going to a sticky tire its another ball game now! totaly different!

True...but when I was learning, I started out with street tires with the same traction problem. But at the same time I also learned how to feather the clutch and regain that traction to an extent. I guess we all have different methods of learning but it's all practice IMO [patriot]

Yea I agree with that. I'm just saying that practicing on street tires has helped me in every traction aspect. Idk about anybody else but thats just me.

yea..tires definitely help, but you can still get out the hole by jus feathering it..shift into 2nd normal..you're never going to hook up trying to launch on street tires and power shifting into 2nd..
