I have a 88 gt convert. I just ordered the M2300K kit and I was wondering what size wheels will fit? I know that I need a 17" or larger wheel my question pertains to the OFFSET and BACK SPACE. To be honest I have no Idea what the OFFSET and BACK SPACE means. So any help would be most appreciated. Thank You.

I have the same kit. You will need a 6.5inch in the rear. I have the oem Cobra Rs with 5.95 back spacing in the front and 6.42 in the rear. Barely clears the 275's. You will love this kit! This is by far the best upgrade I have done. [ October 02, 2009, 11:27 PM: Message edited by: forced331 ]

Is this the complete kit including axles. That kit consists of SN95 axles which are 1/2 inch longer. So having a 6.5 inch back spacing in the rear will have the wheel sit inside the wheel well a 1/2 more than the standard 5.95 backspacing. If you were to run a 5.95 backspacing in the rear, you will have tire rubbing issues with the lip of the fender. Good deal on the kit!

The kit includes axles, new rear calipers, M/C and booster. I think it's the SN95 spindle. I was looking at 5055-136 Pony R®, 17x9" Chrome 5 46.0mm OFFSET 6.8" BACK SPACE for the front and 5055-176 Pony R®, 17x10" Chrome 5 46.0mm OFFSET 7.3" BACK SPACE for the rear. Do you think these will fit. Also will I need to remove the rear quad shock? Can you plz explain OFFSET if you understand this, cuz I have no clue.
