The most important part is getting a tune. The tuner will tell you to set the initial timing and fuel pressure and they will work their magic. It's easiest to get a chip burned. As far as fuel wise your going to want 42lb injectors and a 255lph walbro (Im not sure how much that fuel pump is putting out). But, keep it mind that any blown application on a stock block is on borrowed time. There are a lot of people who have had success with stock blocks and a good tune but there are no guarantees.

IF you crank up the boost then you will need to make sure you have a good tune. You will proabably need to remove timing and also should probably verify A/F on a dyno and adjust your fuel appropriately.

Are you running a BTM? FMU? Custom tune?

I run 10 on my combo (which is basically the same as yours) with just fuel pressure and a BTM. It would definitely run better with a custom tune. For now, I run 14 degrees initial and pull 2 degrees for every pound of boost....just make sure you always run good gas and good head gaskets...

but a custom tune would maximize your power, but it's not necessarily needed.
