I know i wont hear the end of this, but im having problems with my communter, If its hot outside the check engine light will come on and the sport shifter light will blink. The car will not start unless the sport light "S" will stop blinking, even when the check engine lite goes off the "S" blinks and keeps the car from starting. It has fuel pressure, has spark, but the car will not start unless it either cools down (at nite or earling morning). stupidiest thing i have ever have in a car.

Does the car still crank when that light is flashing? Those had issues with the fuel pump relay when the car/weather is hot. But you said you have pressure, so not sure...

yeah i read about that, but im stuck between the 2 solutions now, its either a main relay switch, or a transmission control unit.

Transmission control unit. PCM recieves a signal from it indicating a overheat condition, preventing a re-start. Sister had a POS Prelude that did the same thing...

lol thats funny johnb, i feel that its gonna b the more expensive part also, with my luck it always is. Been reading that damn transmission control unit is the problem. having the same problem as most people with hondas..whenever u drive it or have hot weather that god damn thing wont start unless it cools for a bit. i cant even think of a ford problem so freakin stupid.
