Does not fit properly an is not made for it... But with some patience an man power you can get it in there...

It whont work because the pass side header and x pipe is not round its like square ish on the cobra

square and flat with a gasket, which is the same as on 4.6L GT's and on the 96-98 cobra's.
they work fine back and forth.

You will also need to run a slip-in reducer for the driver's side flange, as they became 1/4" larger in 1999. Some pipes can make up for the difference. I know for a fact that MAC does not.
