When I press my brake pedal on my 87 coupe, my lights dont come on. I saw the switch on the pedal that turns them on but I cant seem to figure out how to keep the switch stationary so that the button is pressed when pressing the pedal. Any help would be great. thanks!

check the wires for power with a test light.one will be hot allways the outher will be hot when you press the pedal down
