How much coolant does a bone stock (1990) 5.0 hold? This is with a stock radiator and engine completely drained of coolant.
I'm trying to figure out the coolant capacity because I'm switching to Evans NPG+ coolant for my mustang in the dessert 29 palms. Its about 110 degrees average in the summer and I talk to a few people and heard great things/benefits from using evans NPG.
Thanks for your help and support

Haynes manual says 14.1 quarts if completely dry.
