I've seen them live with a 600-650hp setup for some time. As for the clutch, it's all in how you drive.
No, the DS isn't the same length. You need a 03-04 shaft with either a conversion U joint (445 precision) or a 03-04 flange for the rear.

Some people with 4XX gears don't want a car that cruses at 3000+ RPM on freeway trips and a T56 works really well at chopping down the freeway speed RPM's. I have a Viper T56 in my Cobra and at 80MPH, the RPMS are only at 2100 with the Viper .50 sixth gear.
By the way, the terminator T56 has a 440 FT TQ rating and the Viper T56 is rated at 750+ft TQ. [ July 12, 2009, 09:09 PM: Message edited by: cobraracer46 ]

It all depends on how you drive your car. I have been pullied on my 03 cobra for about 20k miles and just recently installed a 2.3 whipple making just over 600hp and I have had no problems. But then again I don't drive like an idiot everywhere I go either.

wow thats a name we haven't seen post in a while. Drew broke only 2 G-Forces.
I personally would go with a t-56 with a 26 spline input shaft and you should be fine

im having all the work done threw aed. basically im doing a combo like drews wifes "sloleen" and i know my t45 wont hold for shit so while its in the shop im def gonna upgrade the tranny. im basically looking at my options the when it comes down to it im gonna let the 2 GURU'S come up with the best choice.

I've got the TR3650 in mine that puts down 526whp and I haven't had any problems so far but when mine goes I'm going to go with the T56 and the 26 spline input shaft. I've heard of a lot of guys blowing up the 3650's with nothing done though, its all about how you drive it. I get on it all the time but don't beat the hell out of it.
