What's a good flowing quiet exhaust? Everyone knows whats loud but just cuz its loud doesn't mean its fast. I'm pushing towards the sleeper side so. I would run longtubes and from there I don't know what would be good any suggestions. I assume hi flow cats would be the first step to quieting it down

My HCI 91 has LT's, o/r midpipe, & a magnaflow catback & its pretty damn quiet until you romp on it... The magnaflows I have are the standard Magnaflows, but look a bit longer than the regular ones you see on Mustangs....
Here is a lil video... It had an o/r X pipe on it back then, but now it has an o/r h pipe

Thanks man... When that vid was filmed, the car still had 3.08's in the rear. Its a bit different now since it's 5 lug with DD 10th anniversary Cobra's & it has 3.73's now... [ July 01, 2009, 12:26 AM: Message edited by: EPIK ]

Ive got Dynomax Ultra flo, theyre pretty much the same design as the magnaflow mufflers, quiet while cruising, get nice and throaty when you jump on it.I think the Magnaflows would be your best bet

I run dynomax superturbo's on both my cars, when I have the stock h-pipe on either one for smog, it's quieter than stock.
sounds great without cats too, a little loud but no where near the level of other exhaust without cats.

Dynomax super turbos for 3 in and borla pro xs in 2.5. No drop in power on a supercharged 550rwhp and most importantly no unwanted attention.

+1 for the Dynomax Super Turbos. Quiet at idle and cruising, but good and throaty when you jump on it.
