I have a problem . . . I can't decide whether or not to keep my current exhaust set up.
BBK LT headers, BBK o/r x pipe, and SLP LM1s
My friends been telling me cars have been getting pulled over by cops and get their cars checked in the Brentwood area. I don't know the details though. Just been hearing things.
I get kinda nervous driving around since my car is pretty loud. . . and the fact the LT's and running no cats is illegal. The smell that comes with running no cats is also pretty bad.
Should I just throw in some catted mid pipes with my LT's? or should I get shorties installed and a catted mid pipe? or am I just worrying too much?
Thanks for any input!

i say u put some hi flow cats on there..or u can take some stock ones hallow the inside and have them welded to ur mid pipe so it can seem like u "have" them on there..

P.s. they can only pop ur hood if they have a warrent!!!

Don't sweat it. I have shortys x pipe and dumps. I got pulled over twice and they just gave me fix it ticket. They to lazy to look under a car.

Man my boy has a lawyer and he got reffed, his laywer fought it on the behalf of not havin a warrent to pop the hood if u refuse based on a proformance ticket, different if u got drug cases (to those to whom it may apply to)

i got stoped to and yeah he said my car was to lound to me it's not he did not pop my hood. i just told him i had on street legal shorties he told me he has some on his 65stang and that was that no hood poppin. but what he hears was the off road h-pipes. but they do get you for that bs.

Theyre hip to the gutting cats out,they tap on em now. If they even go that far,this dude I know got pulled over last friday in his mustang in martinez and they got down and looked under the car I was real surprised to see that.
