I want to get a cam to match up to my heads. I have some Edelbrock 2.02's and was looking to gettings a cam that runs with the same powerband as my heads. So while looking I found myself wondering if its lift I want or duration?

Are the heads already on the car and running now? If so what kinda shortblock is it,a cam might cause piston-to-valve clearance issues...IMO custom grind is the way to go,lift and duration both help, with those valves duration might be real helpful.Maybe somebody can chime in and give you more info.
