anybody know a good cheap place to get a y-pipe welded. My friends 3 inch y-pipe is to short for his longtubes and he needs to get the piping extended, maybe 1 to 3 inches on each side. i need it to be around $150. cuz the other shops i asked all said 200, and wont budge.

I know this probably does'nt help you if your not close to hollister but i bought 1 5/8 shorties with a 2 1/2 inch into a single magnaflow with 3 inch outlet style kit that i welded together with what i was given but did'nt like how it was.I took it to a local shop and the guy cut,tucked up,lengthened to how I wanted it for 120 cash that was with making some new pieces with 2 1/2 inch pipe.It took him about 2 hours and 7 ft of pipe.I don't know where you live but if you don't need a pipe bender and just need it lengthened buy some pipe and I'll weld it for free.
