I bought redline 75/90 gear oil for a 8inch with a limited slip...
Two things I need to know:
Will 75-90 work and should I run a friction mod. I just wanna make sure I don't mess up [patriot]

You will be fine with that oil. If your carrier case has clutches then you will need to use the Ford friction modifier in addition to the oil.
