Can't get my get headers to stop glowin. Have tried adjusting timing , fuel & even took cats out ? this is at idle car has never been drivin. they start glowing about 3mins into idle.

is this a recently assembled motor? could be you retarded your cam too much?

yes, is pulling the cam the only way to know

you dont need to pull the cam just take off the timing cover and make sure the dots on the cam and crank sprocket match up the cam dot should be on the bottom and crank dot should be on the top [ May 15, 2009, 04:41 AM: Message edited by: Big block 66 f100 ]

well Streakmatt is gonna Look @ it today hopefully i have some good news. the shop it was @ kept trying to adjust the fuel from the chip & not the regulator. im wondering if tht could have anything to do with it..
what should base fuel pressure be , with 42# injectors ?
