Flat-rate tuning. $400 for a Termi tune.
This does not include an SCT X-Calibrator which is needed to tune your car. We have X-Cal3's in stock if you need one.

$400 for X-3's
So, $800 total. www.advancedenginedevelopment.com
The Cameron Park/Shingle Springs facility is our main shop.
We are not the cheapest, but 80% of the cars we do are 03/04 Cobra's. Most of the fastest 03/04 Cobras in NorCal come from our shop. [ April 27, 2009, 01:15 AM: Message edited by: 93PONY ]

Another recommendation for AED. They just finished a make over on my Cobra, and I drove it for the first time on Saturday. Although the car now makes over 600 to the tires, driveablity is BETTER than stock! They are extremely professional, and although it might be extra effort getting your car to Sac, it is time and money well spent. You will not be dissapointed!

I've never worked with Shaun nor Drew directly, but my friend, JohnB, has said nothing but good things about them, which is why I will be sending some of my cars in the near future to be tuned.

I had to go to shop that does not see very many mustangs to tune an AEM on my car. It's going to cost you also. It was about 800-1000 in tuning only. It took one whole Saturday and they started from scratch and went through every gear, speed, and throttle position.

We have not tuned any AEM systems.
There is an import tuner in town that knows the AEM software. We know what fuel/timing curves it takes to get a SBF pushrod to drive/idle correctly.
We're not opposed to learning the AEM software, just haven't had a customer that's had an AEM setup come in.
& we're very picky about the setups we tune. I'd want to go over the entire setup before the car comes into the shop. Mis-matched parts make for a headache & sometimes it doesn't matter how good the tuner is....if the setup is incorrect, the car just won't perform as it *should/could*.
Case in point, My Partner Drew's Wife's Saleen. Always had a drivability 'issue'. New motor/blower combo made the problem 10 times worse & absolutely undrivable. Changing a bunch of things around resulted in near perfect drivability.....better than it's ever driven. One might consider it to be 'crazy', but it works quite well. (swapping from draw-thru to Blow - thru with a GT500 maff sensor stuffed in a 3" pipe after the After-cooler & using an Import style BOV rather than a By-pass valve) Other modifications were neccessary to get the car to startup & idle correctly. All non-tune related.
Basically, some setups can not be 'tuned' the way they sit.
