I can get all the bolts in on the left headers except 1 bolt. (Front bolt) and on the right side I can only get like 4 bolts in, the headers look like they are 1/4 inch off. I have gt40 heads and bbk shortys. I don't get why they are not lineing up... [ April 19, 2009, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: trickflow211 ]

Put only the front and rear bolts in, then the rest. You may have to give it a lil love to make it work. Don't tighten them down completely before all are in.

with BBKs they should either work or not, considering it's a one-piece flange. if they're not lining up, there's nothing you can do about it unless you want to cut up that flange.

outside bolts first, then start adding the middle ones, I also had to use a 4ft pry bar on my old bbk equal length headers to pry them into place for a couple of the bolts.

Are you sure the heads are GT-40 and not GT-40P. What are the heads off of?. Are they new?
