Does anyone have a preference for Spark Plugs? Does it matter? Any suggestions on a type.
I was told to buy the NGK platinum brand.
I have a Mustang GT 2000- Stock
Thank you.

Id say it kinda depends on your application, and your willingness to do work, i run coppers because they have good detonation resistance but i change them like every 5k miles haha they are cheap enough. i also like iridiums but make sure your tune is spot on because you dont wanna foul out a 17 dollar plug haha ( learned from experience )

remember, just because the are more expensive doesn't mean that there are better, I run autolite coppers in my soon to be 500hp cobra. With those platinum plugs you are only gonna have issues. The platinum tip will get hot and stay glowing kind of like a glow plug and cause pre detonation "pinging"

either autolite or motorcraft from the dealer.
I run 764's in my 97, but it's a DOHC, not sure if your SOHC GT uses a different plug

MOTORCRAFT! hands down. They are made just for Fords, why use anything else?

Thats some great information. Looks like Autolites or Motorcraft plugs for this Mustang.
Thank a million.
