Every so often my oil light comes on and off, I need to check the oil presure and i need to know where to hook it up when i get one some time in the next week or 2. Do you just put it where the #1 spark plug is?

to check oil pressure you need a good accurate oil pressure guage, just tap into where the oil pressure sending unit and check it, it's where the oil filter is. Also the oil light will come on when your oil is low. No need to pull out spark plugs, that's for a compression test.
