I just recently put another t5 in my car and after we installed it it makes whinning noise almost like a supercharger. Can anyone tell me what it might be. Thanks for the help.

Is it a new T5? Did you install an aftermarket shifter? When I had my T45 replaced under warranty I noticed the whine, but was told that this is normal and just needs to be broken in.

After 12,000 miles it got a little quieter, or maybe I just got used to it. [Big Grin]

It's a used t5 with stock shifter. And now I kinda feel like my reverse keeps popping out. You guys think I need more gear fluid?
