i want to go 373's like i usually do with a fox body but if i went 3.55's in my 93 cobra would it be somewhat of a waste, who knows the rpm diffrence of 3.73 vs 3.55 and for that matter how bout the rpm diffrences from my stock 3.08's vs 3.55 vs 3.73's i only really wanna go 3.55's cause my lil bro's 5.0 seems to run out of gear on the frwy and hes basicly got ALL the bolt ons except heads and cam just curious on some opinions???????????

3.55s are a good all-around gear. Your RPM will be dependent on your tire size and transmission type.

yeah I cant keep my car in the gears long enough I pull for a second then I have to shift and that when I get passed. Do 3.55's.

My bad i was thinkn you had a blower lol oooops! Well good luck with saving for the blower. With that being said are you all stock? Ive always liked the 4:10's on an n/a car or even 3:90's is a good choice. I did have 3:55's and in wanted more gearing so i opted for the 4:10's. Its really all in what you like and how you drive.

Sounds like you need to learn how to shift faster. There is nothing wrong with a stockish car and 3.73's. Back in the day my car would pull 1.6 60fts at the track and still get 25+ mpg on the highway. To each there own, but I would say 3.55's are a waist until you are making major power. Just get the 373's an run a taller tire wont have no problem with running out of gear... With 355's your probably gonna want more gear. If it was me I would run 390's but im not much of a freeway racer like to go from a dig!
