2.5 its better if u had a turbo u would put 3 inch but u want more back preasure so 2.5 is good

+1. Just make sure you use a good flowing muffler.

3" let that thing breath. I had 3" on my 347 and made a big difference on the top and throughout the power band. There is no need to have to do exhaust twice just do it once and forget about it

I'm running 3" on my 67 with a 357w 1 5/8 long tubes an a custom 3" h pipe 3" flows an 2.5 tails which will be cut off for custom mandrel bend 3" tails..

2.5" is good to like 400 horses,3 inch will probably rob some of your bottom end power.How much horsepower roughly are you gonna have?

with a 351w 400 hp is just arund the corner, plus the torq of the 351w u wont miss much running a 3" pipe
