just wondering for future reference, what would be easier and cheaper to do....
buy a stroker kit and have it installed in stock block
or
buy a shortblock and have it installed

Generally about the same. If you are willing to do a little work yourself you can have a faster car. If you get lazy you'll have to settle for slow. Unless you are financially independent...but if you were you probably would not be asking.

Just buy mine that's already done, haha! Its a 4.6 CHP short block.

I bought everything piece by piece. Some from the forums, some new. It cost more and took longer but I do have peace of mind and know exactly what is in my engine.
