i have a 1984 mustang 5.0 it has a 2 barel carb but has injectors on it how would i put a 4 barel on it and the red and green wire that goes to coil does not work why is this

If it is a auto made in 1984 then it would have a tbi- throttle body injection, but if it was stick then it came with a 4bl carb same with 85. You would have to remove all injection and swap intake, put a difrent style fuel pump, you could run a electric pump but I dont think you in tank will work, but done qoute me.
