I ADJUSTED MY TIMING ON MY 86 WASNT ABLE TO GET IT START IT NOW THAT I DID MY CAR SHAKES ALOT AND LOTS OF BLACK SMOKE COMES OUT SMELLING LYK GAS ! ANYONE

Sounds like its way to advanced or retarded. if you didnt remove the dist. or plugs wires?

did you pull the spout connector and use the passenger side front plug to hook up to the timing light ?
was the car warmed up when you set the timing ?
