Anyone running stock 16" pony's on a foxbody or have? I'm looking for different tires sizes. Would love to see pics of the different tire sizes you have, along with how they performed. All help is greatly appreciated!!!! [ January 08, 2009, 11:15 AM: Message edited by: 92sleeper ]

i don't run pony's anymore(5lug now). but i ran 245/50/16's bfg g-sports. (y rated)and the car looked good and handled very nice. not a very high milage tire.. but great handling.

I don't have pics but I always liked 245/50r16 in the rear and 225/55r16 in the front. They are both the same height and it gives you a little of the big and skinnie look,

When I had my 87LX it was lowered 2" on Jamex springs and CompetitionEnginnering UC's & LC's I used to run 16x7 4lug silver ponys w/a Goodyear RS-A P255/60R16 in the rear and P225/50/R16 in the front. It would only rub on the inner fender in a U-turn.It looked like a mini tub w/a bigg fat tire in the back..

Sumitomo HTRZIII's in the back 245/50ZR16's Yokohama 225/45/ZR16's in the front Also i have a different rear end that pushes my wheels out half an inch on each side but 245's seem like a good choice on the stock ponys

I run 245/50R16's all around on my convertible.
the rear end is a 4 lug disc brake turbocoupe rear end so the wheels stick out a little more than stock in the rear, but should give you an idea.
