My temp Guage was working fine then after awhile it just read below 0 so it wasnt readin nothin . i figure it stop working. Then the other day it start working normally. it read the Temp of the car. but then the next day it stop working and went back to below 0. I figured thers a lose connection somewher thats not reading it right.DOes anyone know wher it connects to and what connections i can Check? this my first Mustang so DOnt know to much. Its a 89gt. Thanks

i believe the temp gauge is connected to the ect (engine coolant temp sensor) which is on the front of the intake manifold on the right side infront of the plenum...you'll see the sensor going down into the manifold
there should be i think 2 wires going to it

temp sensor is in the front of the lower intake on passenger side, it has 1 wire connected to it, check and see if the wire is not broken, the temp sensors are cheap if you wanted to replace it
