I have an 88 coupe that has the speed density set up right now and i have everything i need to put a mass air set up in it. I am gonna do the swap but was wondering what are the benefits of a mass air? more power? better tune? evens out the air/fuel? Just wondering if someone can explain it to me i've always heard a mass air upgrade is a good idea. Thanks

Do you feel your car different right away when you add a mass air?

You will need the maf if you plan on running a cam, bigger injectors, or a power adder. For heads and intake speed density is fine. Stock for stock speed density is faster. [ November 27, 2008, 04:50 PM: Message edited by: white88 ]

You will lose horsepower if you switch to a maf. Keep the speed density untill you switch heads intake and cam.
