It would actually be "http://www.Iamtoostupidtobuildafastford.com"
The error being "to" rather than "too"
That being said, it would still be a fast ford vehicle, but with a GM based engine.
Oh and I am in the middle of converting over to an LS based GM LQ9 6.0L.
But my mustang is still a ford, Mike
Later.

you kids are just not hard core anything anymore I guess.
To me having to put a GM engine in a ford admits you are not good enough to make a Ford fast. So you fall in with the sheep. I have always been good enough. That is just my Opinion. I grew up in a chevy verses ford era..nascar was still cool. prostock was factory sponsored...now nascar sucks, car of tommorow wtf is that?? No fords in prostock? hell they do not even keep score in little leage any more until your 10 lol. thats why the youth in this country today are soft always take the easy way out.
there since I am now officaly a grandpa I can start posting like one now lol. [ November 14, 2008, 06:50 PM: Message edited by: 2stangs69-91 ]

are you serious.what about people wanting to go fast on a budget.what about someone who has a motor sitting around.i think youre scared of being beat by a mostly stock lsx swapped fox handing it to your heavily modded ford powered mustang [ November 14, 2008, 07:14 PM: Message edited by: gtowned ]

bring it...I wish I had a dollar for everytime somebody like you has spouted something like that. I could afford a ls1 to modify then. Why should I be scared of something that has never happened? As far as budjet goes my last 5.0 cost me 5 dollars? The only parts new in my 91 are the rotating assy, trans assy. and a few odds and ends all the rest is ebay or used parts board. If you spend allot of money building a ford that is your own fault. [ November 14, 2008, 08:12 PM: Message edited by: 2stangs69-91 ]

Its just a matter of personal tastes.
I am just an all around car guy.
I can show you at least 5 single turbo stock longblock LS swap mustangs in the low 10s high 9s.
I got my longblock and harness for what you paid for your pro 1 heads.

I won't argue that, they are expensive but you get what you pay for.
They belong on 8 second cars, not 10 second cars.

I only did the swap because I have very little money to spend and I needed to spend wisely.
Dollar for dollar the LS 6.0L swap with a single turbo was the way to go, hands down.
With good pistons some ARP rod bolts better valve springs and pushrods and this motor will go low 9s with boost in the proper chassis. And I will not have to worry about a hand grenade.
No way would I get that with a production windsor longblock.

I'm all for a LS swap. The only reason I put in Ford motors is because that is what I'm comfortable with, and have mountains of parts if, (cough), when something breaks. I have a Datsun with a 5.0, and a heavily modded SVO with a Windsor. I could care less about keeping something original.
The car that really needs to be built is a Fox Mustang with an EVO or WRX drivetrain: AWD, turbo 4 banger, the works. Do that swap, and you have something to talk about.
My ultimate revenge will be a 3rd gen Nova or an Elco/Chevelle with a Ford in it!

are you really comparing block vs block 6.0 to 351w for integrity? Have you seen some of the LS drag radial cars with iron block setups? No they dont pass emissions or run 10s, but even you might like them! Sure they push water sometimes, but at 1600hp on a stock 6.0 block and ls1 cranks, thats a fuckin give and take i could live with! [ November 15, 2008, 01:21 PM: Message edited by: jayl ]

Maybe not a good link but here is a link to a production 6.0L block build up.
However, here is a link to a production longblock 5.3 (not as good as the 6.0L) in your favorite car (a Ford Fairmont)
It went 9.3s with a production longblock.
Show me the mustang doing that with a production LONGBLOCK, not a production shortblock ie Norman Chang style.
I think even the first pass at 9.9 is faster than you SQ car.
I know you have something for that ass with your 408 IE blocked Dart Pro 1 headed F2 blown SBF, but you gotta give it up to the motor from something as simple as my family 2003 suburban?
