I have the BBK 1 5/8 long tubes, the regular finish and not the ceramic as well as the lakewood bellhousing. When installing the bellhousing, the bottom corner (passenger side) had to be trimmed in order to fit. There wasnt too much to trim and it wasnt that big of a deal. A milwaukee band saw used to do it.

I think it is hit or miss with longtubes, and the SFI bells. I run Kook's, but they are not cheap... but fit perfect. If you are buying the parts new, look into a Quicktime bellhousing. They are totaly different that Lakewood, and McLeod, and give you a lot or room depending on what clutch you are running though. My next bell will be a Quicktime for sure! You can call Lakewood and ask about what headers fit and what ones don't... they may be of some help?

McLeod's are all zink plated like that, and Lakewoods are usually red. I have had both. Either way, they can be a pain in the ass!
