does anyone know how or have a link to a site that shows u how to make an electric fan run off the temperature of ur thermostat?

On what car? Don't think it is possible on a Foxbody. You will need to install a separate temp sensor

Yeah you gotta run a seperate unit for it to run off temperature.

Buy a black magic 15 inch fan by flex a lite (185 model). Comes with everything even sending unit. Slight hole will be drilled in radiator for sending unit install. Plus adjustable thermostat for fan to kick in.

dont bother drilling into ur radiator..odds of it not leaking down the road..very slim. go out to ur local pick n pull and get and 94 ford taurs fan. v6. cost you about 35 bucks and will pull more air then 90% of aftermarket electric fans. summit racing sells aftermarket adjustable thremos for about $20. you can either put the sensor in the hose or do what i did and just shove it in the bottom radiator fins (works fine) ** just remember you will have to get an upgraded alternator***

I didn't upgrade the alternator on my 86 GT when I put an electric fan on it. I had it so it'd come on when I turned the ignition on.

I did the conversion on my 68 ...which have crappy alternators anyways. These tarus fans draw alot of juice.

You can do it on a foxbody. The EEC has a wire for controlling the fan, you have to look it up to find out which one. This wire can drive a relay. If you have an aftermarket chip, you can then control the temperature the fan comes on at.
