well it seems like my batterys being drained,it will start with a good battery and it will charge but if I leave the terminals on with the car off like not even 30 minutes later it will be completely dead, is there a way I can tell if its being drained? I have a volt meter,

That is a very hard problem to solve, you have to go on a hunting expedition. Your voltmeter won't be much help. You want to look for light bulbs that stay on or a stereo or alarm system that's drawing too much power. Pull your fuses one at a time to see if you can narrow it down that way. If you want, you can hook up your voltmeter in amps mode and connect it between the battery and the cable (in line), then pull fuses to see if the amps go down.
