I have received an engine failsafe mode display for the thrid time now. I read the manual and it wasn't as helpful as I would have liked.

This seems to occur when I have used the AC in max mode, but not everytime. It's been a couple months in between occurences.

Can anyone tell me what the heck this means and if it gives any DTC's? I don't want to pay a dealer money just to figure it out if I can buy a tuner and get more power while diagnosing!

Thanks...

I even called the dealership and they were no help, just said that there is a number of things that can cause this and next time bring it to them (of course) without shutting it off so they can test it.

And of course it probably won't throw a code without the check engine light on....bummer.
