Get a fender well cold air kit or a stock air intake with a K&N filter

The air inlet tube should be placed so that fresh cold air is able to enter it. The usual way is to have it set up so that the air is forced into it while driving. Some kits have the air inlet molded so it fits in the lower grill area of your front bumper. Is yours the molded style or just a round piece of tubing? http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+115+300945&D=300945 check that link out it's the march ram air kit and basically gives you the idea.

I just made my own ram air for $10. I went to home depot and bought a ruber 3" to 4" plumbing coupler, a 3" 45 degree black pvc pipe and 2 aluminum chimney pipes that come flat and you have to roll and connect them.

I placed the coupler over my fog light hole (missing fogs) then the 45 degree angle. After that I fabricated a triangular shape out of the aluminum (trying to find the best shape to accelerate the air as it goes through my filter) and bolted it up.

It took me about 2 hrs from start to finish.

I wish I took pics, it looks pretty damn good and works great. At 80 mpg and over the car really starts to pull out of nowhere.

I know that wasent an answer to your question, but I figured I would share for thouse that dont have the cash to fork out.
