MGW is the best IMO...I had a Tri ax on my Mach at one time & i didnt care for how notchy it was. MGW is much smoother, quieter, easier to find the gears, & u can rotate the handle in different directions. They do make one for your tranny too....

I have a MGW in my 04, and I LOVE it. Best short shifter on the market in my opinion.

+1 and a fuck yes! MGW shifters are awesome... such smooth, smooth shifting. It's hard to miss third with this puppy installed, you almost have to try to miss it.
get an MGW and don't look back. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif) [ August 03, 2008, 05:43 AM: Message edited by: 94gt ]

You will love it! I had a tri ax on my 03 cobra and liked it. Bought my current coupe with a Pro50 in it, and swapped it for the mgw, and love the thing!

+1 for the MGW. i bought my 96' cobra with a tri-ax already in it. it felt fine and wasn't too notchy. i put an MGW in it and never had a problem with missed shifts and it was a lot smoother too.... i will say this, you can't go wrong with any aftermarket shifter since the stocker is a POS... also, the t5 and t45 will have a longer throw even with a short shifter compared to the 3650 or t56... its in their design... not sure if thats the case with the tko's...
