I can't remember where I read it but, there was a tech article written on areas to weld on our cars to help body flex. Yes I know braces are the way to go but, there are also little cheap things we can do that help. The reason I ask is mine is on jack stands awaiting the new rear end and I was going to reinforce the lower torque boxes with a nice bead on the spot welds that are from the factory. Tell me what you know. Thanks

theirs lots off places u can weld to stiffen your cars body, especially if your rear end is out, go over all the seems in the rear by the tourque boxes i just had all my seems welded when i added my subrame connectors and tourque boxes.
your tourque boxes are really one of the weakest points of the car even with stock power

Sub frame connectors made a world of difference on my cobra. I also had my torque boxes welded.

I have full length subs. I was just looking to take advantage of the car being up in the air for the time being and do as much as I can. So I'll just weld a bead around the entire seam of the torque boxes and that will be good? Thanks for the replys.
