i want to install my gt40p heads on my 1987 vert but its my first time and i dont have much experience.any one have any tips or websites i can go to.i live in salinas,california can any one help me?

buy a book for your year car....it will tell you your torque sequence and steps...

Its pretty easy, just make sure to label all connections you remove, remove all of the old gasket material, and torque the new heads correctly, oh and buy new head bolts!

Try and get someone who has done this before to at least look over your shoulder. It's not that hard, but there's lots of little questions you might throughout the whole thing.

Dont forget to get the correct headers just for the GT40p heads.

well right now im running some headman longtube headers,will that fit?

yeah but your gonna have a pain in the ass putting spark plugs in and probably burn some plug wires.. ive heard gm style wires work.. did you do any research before buying these? read this it should help somewhat

buy some fuel line removers, get the kit from kragen, that's the only real PITA part of a head swap to me.
