Put a bone stock motor in my coupe, minus a cobra intake, and aftermarket fuel regulator.
Motor ran perfect in cousins car, and all i did was remove all the smog equipment, and water lines on lower intake.
But the problem im having is when i come from a deadstop the car starves for gas(just loses power, and stalls) until i rev the engine and builds the power back up, then it hauls ass?
The car has a fucked up idel too. Changed the sensors, and it made no diffrence.
Changed fuel filter, and fuel pressure is set at 35PSI.
any help please?

you can also spray carb cleaner all around the engine while its running to help find the vacuum leak (oldest trick in the book lol)

+10 Spray around the upper to lower intake gasket.. check all the vaccum lines to make sure they are connected. Check the clamps that hold the intake tubing on.. etc.

Also might wanna check Fuel pump Relay under drivers seat. Yeah, it'll still run with a bad relay. Took me a week to track down and diagnose a shitty running motor in my car, and it still had 40psi at the fuel rail. The pump just wasnt sustaining 40 psi when tyring to rev up- and we eventually tracked it down to that damn relay.

THE REASON I DONT THINK ITS A VACCUME IS BECAUSE I CAN GET IN THE CAR AND THE PROBLEM WILL START, THEN OUT OF NO WHERE IT GOES AWAY, AND IM A BAT OUTTA HELL , THEN I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND WHEN I DRIVE IT AGAIN THE PROBLEMS BACK .
THAT BAD RELAY SOUNDS RIGHT

When you say water lines, do you mean the hard water lines or just the little 5/16 t/b lines?
If so then what did you do with the ECT??
