I had a similar problem many years ago in my fathers Ford F-150. Turns out it was a seriously clogged fuel filter.

1991 Explorer did the same thing, had never had the fuel filter changed until 153,000 miles into life. Lets just say the car ran like new when it was swapped.

hopefully its just that

I just found out today, when I was parallel parking up hill car keeps dying out and I have a full tank of gas, could be something else besides the fuel filter.
