question is the topic.

I have a 91 lx with a o-ringed stock block ,twisted wedged heads with head studs, saleen intake stage 3 ported matched to the heads, trick flow stage 2 cam,msd btm,s trim,
Mac 1.3/4" long tubes w/ 3" pro camber pipe and 3" mac catback,tko,60 lbs injectors with supporting parts,7 qt canton oil pan,and dynotuned by grc with diablosport chip.

Now for cooling I have a 3 row alum fluidyne radiator,180 thermostate,i think stock w/pump,and A electric fan with shroud on a thermostat.
Do you think I should just run a toggle switch to the fan? What are the chances of a thermostate getting stuck open?

The car warms up to 180 after 10mins
But gets hot to like 205-211 after 25mins ...
I took it to the drag strip the other night and run once then did a hot lap,and after that run she shot up to 210 again.

THE OiL Is Clean! Im gonna pressure test the cooling system when i get a chance.
btw it stays below 180 cruisin on the freeway above 65mph. I run 91 octane with 108 turbo and Keep the timing low. what
do you think? I'll be out till friday fyi. [patriot]

does it use or push any water. I run the same set up as you but a 331. I have a 3core rad but use a stock clutch fan. I can not get my car to heat up. i had to use cardboard and drive 10 miles to heat it up enough for smog. It doesn't sound like you are pulling enough air. Or compresion leak [Frown]

Do you have the fan in the front or behind the radiator? Is the fan rotation correct?

The fan blows the right way,Doesnt eat coolant,
compression holds 160psi in all cylinder...can you explain more about a compression leak causing over heating? lmk
Im guessing maybe the themostat on the fan is not working when it should. This sux cause its kind of a expensive setup. [Frown]
